Many workers immediately ran away, the rest tried to put out the fire, but failed. Because the materials were flammable, the fire quickly engulfed the entire factory of nearly 1,000 square meters, with smoke rising dozens of meters high.
Binh Duong police dispatched more than 10 fire trucks and nearly 100 officers and soldiers to the scene. Due to the large fire, the firefighting force had to split into many directions to spray water and cool the surrounding areas to prevent the fire from spreading.
