(Dan Tri) - A scrap yard located next to a motorbike warehouse in Binh Duong suddenly caught fire. The warehouse owner called for help from the people and moved dozens of motorbikes to safety.
The fire broke out at around 1:00 p.m. on January 20 at a scrap yard on My Phuoc Tan Van Street, Phu Loi Ward, Thu Dau Mot City (Binh Duong).
At that time, a fire suddenly broke out inside a scrap yard of thousands of square meters, located next to a motorbike storage warehouse. When the fire was discovered, local people used on-site fire fighting equipment to try to put it out but were unsuccessful.
The owner of the motorbike warehouse called for help from the people and quickly moved dozens of motorbikes to safety. In addition, businesses and houses near the scene also had to evacuate their assets.
Binh Duong Police's fire prevention and rescue force mobilized 5 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.
A fire truck from a nearby industrial park also came to assist and control the fire. By 2:30 p.m. the same day, the fire was under control, and the motorbike storage was not affected.
