Inspired by traditional and contemporary rattan architecture, The Senique Hanoi housing project is a combination and a unique work marking the “East” - “West” right in the heart of Hanoi Capital.
On October 17, CapitaLand Development (CLD) broke ground on The Senique Hanoi residential project in the East of Hanoi. This third project that CLD will start in 2024 is an important step in CapitaLand's long-term commitment - a real estate group from Singapore, to expand its housing portfolio in Vietnam to 27,000 units by 2028.
Covering an area of 2.1 hectares, The Senique Hanoi residential project will provide approximately 2,150 quality apartments, aiming to redefine modern urban living standards in the area. This important milestone follows the success of Lumi Hanoi, another residential project of CLD which commenced construction in March this year and recorded an impressive performance with 99% of the apartments sold over three phases over the past seven months.
Mr. Ronald Tay, CEO of CapitaLand Development (Vietnam), emphasized that the groundbreaking ceremony of The Senique Hanoi today, October 17, is not only the beginning of a new project but also demonstrates CLD's deep commitment to promoting urban transformation in Vietnam.
“In 2024 alone, CapitaLand Group has launched three major projects: Sycamore, Lumi Hanoi and The Senique Hanoi. These projects have a total estimated development value of over S$2.6 billion (about VND47 trillion). This reflects our confidence in Vietnam’s growth potential,” said Mr. Ronald Tay.
According to Mr. Ronald Tay, The Senique Hanoi represents a significant step forward in CapitaLand Group's commitment to expand its residential portfolio to 27,000 units by 2028. He believes that The Senique Hanoi will contribute to shaping the living standards in the East of Hanoi, similar to the role of Lumi Hanoi in the West of the capital.
The CEO of CapitaLand Development (Vietnam) also emphasized the importance of collaborating with leading Japanese developers: “We are honored to partner with prestigious Japanese developers Mitsubishi Estate and Nomura Real Estate Development on this project. Their extensive expertise from the Japanese market has been contributing valuable contributions in terms of design, integration and focus on sustainable development. These values have shaped the quality of CLD’s projects over many periods, and will once again drive the long-term impact we aspire to bring to the community.”
Mr. Jaya Ratnam, Ambassador of Singapore to Vietnam, also emphasized CLD’s significant contributions to Vietnam’s urban development: “CLD’s achievements in Vietnam reflect the Group’s dedication to promoting urbanization and economic growth in the country. I am proud to witness CLD’s continuous efforts and growth as it has been setting new standards for sustainable urban development in this market.”
Located in the vibrant eastern part of the capital, The Senique Hanoi covers an area of 2.1 hectares and has a total development value estimated at S$600 million (VND10.8 trillion). Expected to be completed in 2027, the project has convenient connectivity to major roads and future metro lines 1 and 8.
Inspired by traditional and contemporary rattan architecture, The Senique Hanoi is a combination and a unique work marking the “East” - “West” right in the heart of Hanoi. These intersections are subtly expressed through the architectural, landscape and interior design, as well as in the project’s utility system.
The project offers approximately 2,150 apartments in three 37-storey towers. Customers can choose from a variety of apartment types, from one-bedroom units with an area of 42m2, to four-bedroom units with an area of up to 186m2. The project also integrates duplex and penthouse apartments with an area of 118m2 to 430m2. Bathroom models designed according to safety standards for the elderly will be designed in two-bedroom apartments with an area of 80m2 or more, as well as three- or four-bedroom apartments.
The Senique Hanoi promises to set a new standard of urban living through a gated community, complete with a host of modern amenities, including a video and online studio for digital professionals and content creators.
Other facilities include a 50m swimming pool, a sky garden with a lounge area, a co-working space and a 3D golf simulator. There is also a dedicated play area for families with young children.
