At the same time, the gold price at DOJI Group is listed at 78.5 - 80.5 million VND/tael for buying and selling. The difference between the buying and selling price of DOJI gold is currently at 2 million VND/tael.

For gold rings, the listed price of SJC 9999 gold is 77.8 million VND/tael for buying and 79.1 million VND/tael for selling, up 500,000 VND in both buying and selling prices. DOJI in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City markets adjusted the buying price up 400,000 VND and the selling price up 450,000 VND to 77.9 million VND/tael for buying and 79.1 million VND/tael for selling, respectively. The buying price and selling price of PNJ brand gold rings are listed at 77.95 million VND/tael and 79.1 million VND/tael, up 450,000 VND in both directions.
The price of Bao Tin Minh Chau's plain round rings is listed at 77.88 million VND/tael for buying and 79.08 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 400,000 VND for buying and 450,000 VND for selling compared to early this morning. Phu Quy SJC is buying gold rings at 77.8 million VND/tael and selling at 79.1 million VND/tael, an increase of 350,000 VND for buying and 450,000 VND for selling.

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 5am today, Vietnam time, was at 2,580.55 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 21.9 USD compared to yesterday's gold price. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 75.527 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is still 2.973 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

World gold prices increased as the US Central Bank is approaching the time to adjust monetary policy. The USD and US bond yields decreased, boosting gold demand.
Spot gold prices hit a record high of $2,580.55 an ounce today and are on track for their strongest annual gain since 2020, up more than 24% on safe-haven demand, geopolitical and economic uncertainty, and strong central bank buying.
Gold prices could hit $3,000 an ounce by mid-2025 and $2,600 by late 2024 thanks to U.S. interest rate cuts, strong demand from exchange-traded funds and demand for physical trading over the counter, said Aakash Doshi, head of commodities for North America at Citi Research.
