This is a community project by the Wind Drama Group in collaboration with FPT students to create an artistic playground for audiences who share a passion for drama.
The actor and director of the play is Sang Ca, a familiar face of the Wind Theater group. He is the one who connects the souls who love this project to turn their thoughts into actions.
They had a great performance, bringing a lot of emotions even though they are not famous actors, but each role was perfect, full of emotion.
Every wall can be a tragedy in life, although it is fragile but has terrible destructive power.
Watch "The Other Side of the Wall" to understand that the play is not just a dramatic story but also a mirror for GenZ audiences to look back, understand and share invisible moments between generations in their family.
Those moments can be very small, from opposing the child's choice of major, forcing the child to become a doctor or accountant, slandering the child's true gender, killing the passion for pursuing an artistic career, or the heartlessness of forcing a pregnant daughter to abort an unwanted fetus to protect the family's reputation... Or the child abandoning the elderly father in the hospital, engrossed in chasing fame and money, only regretting it when the father passes away.
The crew of the play "The other side of the barrier" brought a play with a full range of emotions from light, sound, dances and impressive visuals.
All wrapped up in a story whose main characters are parents and children, the artistic image is the invisible barrier that is not easily noticed. However, it is that invisibility that opens up emotional stories, conflicts when parents and children have not found common ground.
Sang Ca shared: "Under the artistic cut of each story is a lesson about truth, goodness, beauty and humanity that I want to send to the audience of the same age. There were even parents who came to watch, they contemplated with their children, thereby breaking down invisible barriers, to understand each other better in life. And that companionship will lead them to a better community life."
Participating in this deeply educational play are the actors: Sang Ca, Danh Nhan, Cong Thang, Thiet Yen, Kim Anh, Khanh Tien, Thu Ngan, Pham Vu, Su Hong Trong, Thuy Hoa, Khanh An, Hung Duy, Thanh Binh, Van Thanh, Lam Anh and the social dance group dancers.
