'DK's letter' expresses respect and gratitude to the soldiers of the Vietnam People's Navy who are day and night firmly holding their guns to protect the homeland's sea and islands.

“I have sung many songs about the sea and islands; many live programs with the sea and island soldiers; but the most touching feeling is still the lyrics blending with the sound of waves through the walkie-talkie to send to the soldiers on the oil rigs," Le Anh Tuan shared. "I will always feel the honor and pride that will follow me throughout this life."

In the middle of the ocean, on a warm sunny day in the Southern sea… the song seems to understand life, mission and reflects very accurately and beautifully about the soldiers on the oil rig.

The work not only brings intact the feelings of love for the soldiers on the platform but also shows respect and gratitude to the soldiers of the Vietnam People's Navy who are day and night firmly holding their guns to protect the homeland's sea and islands. It is both simple, rustic and realistic, romantic, optimistic and loving life, but also very proud and resilient in the face of all challenges... reflecting the life and love of the soldiers on the platform.

More beautiful is that besides the love for the homeland and country, the soldier on the oil rig always loves and remembers the girl in the rear with an endless, loyal love, "like a coral reef deep in the ocean, forever blooming with waves". Connecting the myriad of waves are letters filled with love sent to the rear, blossoming with love and happiness.

Circus performers Trinh Thang, Hoang Yen My and the soldiers of Battalion DK1 have contributed to building a truly beautiful and sacred image of the soldiers on the oil rig. As a professional circus performer, having gone through hard training to become talented, Trinh Thang also partly understands the difficulties and hardships that the soldiers on the oil rig go through, both to protect the sea and to ensure a safe and healthy life at the forefront of the waves and winds. When invited to play the role of a soldier on the island, Trinh Thang very well expressed the loyalty and strength of a soldier but also the simplicity, closeness and intimacy of a son of the beloved motherland.
