Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan was pleased to note that over the past 75 years, under the wise leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao People's Army has, together with the Lao people, overcome countless difficulties and challenges, fought and built a force that has grown and matured continuously, making an important contribution to the cause of building and defending Laos, and actively contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan affirmed that the Party, State, Government, army and people of Vietnam always remember the support and assistance of the Lao Party, State, Government, army and people in the struggle for national independence and reunification in the past as well as in the country's construction and development today; expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Laos will achieve even greater achievements, affirming its position and role in the regional and international arena.

Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan emphasized that the bilateral defense cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in recent times has continued to be promoted and effectively implemented by both sides, especially in areas such as delegation exchanges (especially high-level delegations), human resource training, propaganda on the solidarity between the two countries and the two armies, border management and protection; expressed the hope that the two countries' Defense Ministries will continue to closely coordinate to comprehensively and effectively implement cooperation areas on the basis of signed documents.
On this occasion, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan respectfully conveyed a congratulatory letter from General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense of Vietnam to General Chansamone Chanyalath.
General Chansamone Chanyalath thanked the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense for coming to congratulate the Lao People's Army on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Army; emphasizing that throughout the 75 years of building, fighting and growing up, the Lao People's Army has always received support and assistance from the Party, Government, Army and people of Vietnam.
