Answering this question, Mr. Ngo Vu The Thien (born 2000; living in Binh Duong) said that many young people, friends and relatives around him, have very diverse feelings about Tet. Some people like it, some don't, and there are also many people who both love and "hate" Tet for many reasons.

The Thien himself feels that Tet is no longer as joyful as when he was a child, when new clothes, cakes, candies and firecrackers brought great joy to everyone.

Over time, the "old flavors" have gradually faded. In recent years, some people have even proposed to abolish the traditional Tet holiday and replace it with the Western New Year, arguing that Tet has become a burden, a waste of time and money, and has also given rise to bad habits such as bribery and making people feel tired.

Although it is undeniable that those problems exist, Mr. Thien believes that thinking like that is not really understanding the sacred nature of Tet, only looking at the negative aspects and forgetting the profound spiritual values that Tet brings.

After all, Tet is still an important occasion for people to return to their families, their roots and strengthen their relationships. Tet is a time to remember their ancestors, share warm hugs and sincere wishes, a time to put aside worries and together wish for a peaceful and happy new year.

No matter how society changes, Tet still retains its meaning of reunion and love. When there is still family, there are still moments of gathering with loved ones, that is the most precious thing. Tet is the time to cherish precious moments with loved ones, an occasion to remind that moments of reunion cannot be replaced.

As a young person born, raised and working in Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Manh Cuong (born in 1999; resident of Thu Duc City), sees Tet in the city as having a very unique color. Tet in the city is always bustling and exciting. Many weeks before Tet, the streets in Ho Chi Minh City are decorated splendidly, especially in the central area.

Tet is also an opportunity for international visitors to experience the unique festival atmosphere, immersing themselves in the blend of traditional and modern culture. Vibrant activities such as street festivals, art performances and music programs create a joyful atmosphere, attracting not only locals but also tourists from all over. The downtown areas, especially Nguyen Hue Walking Street, are always filled with the colors of apricot blossoms, peach blossoms, etc., creating a fresh and brilliant space, making everyone feel excited and eager to welcome the new year.

"Although the city is modern, people still preserve traditional customs such as giving lucky money, eating banh chung, banh tet... and especially the occasion for family and friends to gather and reunite. For me, whether in the city or the countryside, Tet is always an occasion for us to find our roots, return to family and spiritual values. No matter what, Tet is still a time for people to feel loved and connected" - Mr. Cuong shared.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Quoc Bao (born 2001; Ho Chi Minh City) said that Tet is not only an occasion to gather with family but also a time to bring freshness to everyone through work.

As a barber and clothing seller, he always feels happy when helping customers have a new look and more confidence in the first days of the year.

"Every time a customer walks out of the salon with a new hairstyle or wearing a new Tet outfit, their eyes light up, I feel like I've contributed a small part to making life more beautiful" - Mr. Bao shared.

Mr. Bao also said that Tet is an opportunity for him to build more relationships, help people in their work and bring joy to customers. Although he is busy with work, he always tries to make each working day during Tet more meaningful, helping people to be happier and more confident to welcome the new year.

For him, Tet is also a time to recharge, a fresh start for a year full of hope. "I consider Tet as an opportunity to renew myself and my surroundings. It is a simple but complete joy" - Bao shared his thoughts.
