The team led by coach Doan Thi Kim Chi is like a "tiger with wings" when adding the Vietnamese-American duo Ashley Tram Anh and Abigail Mai (Vietnamese-American). The two Vietnamese-American players both come from school football in the US, are both under 23 years old and their forte is midfielder. In particular, Ashley Tram Anh joined and played for the Gonzaga University women's team from the end of 2020 until now, before moving to Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club.

The two new recruits from the US arrived in Hanoi on November 26 to join Huynh Nhu and other teammates. 200 MILLION VND FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM
The 2024 Women's National Cup will be played from November 28 to December 13 in Hanoi (Vietnam Youth Football Training Center and Thanh Tri Stadium), with the participation of 7 teams: Vietnam Coal and Minerals Club, Hanoi I Club, Hanoi II Club, Phong Phu Ha Nam Club, Son La Club, Thai Nguyen T&T Club and Ho Chi Minh City Club.
The 7 teams are divided into 2 groups (1 group of 4 teams and 1 group of 3 teams), playing a round robin to calculate points and rank. The first and second place teams in each group will continue to compete to determine the champion, runner-up, 3rd and 4th place teams. Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club is in Group A with Phong Phu Ha Nam Club, Hanoi I Club and Son La Club. The champion team will receive 200 million VND, the runner-up will receive 150 million VND; the third place team will receive 100 million VND.
