On the morning of November 5, according to Dan Tri reporters, in the "flood center" area of Me Suot (Hoa Khanh Nam ward, Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city), many houses were flooded. Some households have begun to evacuate.
Forces from the Da Nang City Military Command and the Hoa Khanh Nam Ward Police were present to help people move their belongings and provide evacuation instructions in areas at risk of severe flooding.
Military forces used buoys for rescue. Soldiers from Military Region 5 helped people raise their belongings.
The elderly and children in the flooded area were quickly evacuated outside.
People on Me Suot Street tried to get their cars out of the flooded area to save their property.

It is forecasted that from 7am to 10am on November 5, heavy to very heavy rain will continue in districts of Da Nang city. Rainfall is generally 50-100mm, with some places having over 140mm. In the next 3 to 6 hours, there will continue to be moderate rain, scattered heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some places in the city.
The area at the end of Trung Nu Vuong Street, Hoa Thuan Tay Ward (Hai Chau District) was also deeply flooded. To ensure the safety of the people, the militia, army and police deployed checkpoints in the deeply flooded area, not allowing vehicles to enter.
