At Song Tu Tay Island infirmary, on the evening of September 26, at 10:45 p.m., fisherman Nguyen Duc Quoc, 27 years old from Binh Dinh, was admitted and given emergency treatment.
At about 1 p.m. on September 25, while fishing 80 nautical miles from Song Tu Tay Island, the patient suddenly experienced abdominal pain in the right flank, with colic pain that could not be relieved by any position. The pain increased when walking and moving, and no treatment had been given. The patient had a history of surgery to break up left kidney stones 3 years ago.
The patient was taken to Song Tu Tay Island Infirmary by fishing boat BD-96677 TS, captained by Mr. Tran Huu Nghi, born in 1994. Upon admission, the patient was conscious, responsive, and had no fever.
The patient was diagnosed with right renal colic due to bilateral lower third ureteral stones. Immediately afterwards, the patient was given intravenous fluids, antibiotics, muscle relaxants, and abdominal monitoring. By 7am on September 27, the patient had no abdominal pain, a soft abdomen, no fever, and normal bowel movements. The patient is currently being monitored and treated for timely treatment and reporting of any abnormalities.

At 2:00 a.m. on September 27, while fishing in the sea area 5 nautical miles northeast of Sinh Ton Dong Island, fishermen Nguyen Duy Phong, 21 years old; Do Thanh Duong, 20 years old; Tran Huu Nghia, 21 years old, all residing in Binh Thuan province, dived 14 meters deep to catch fish. When they came to the surface, they felt tired, dizzy, and had pain in their ears, chest, abdomen, and legs. Immediately after, the three people were taken care of by the crew members on the ship but did not improve.
The patient was taken to Sinh Ton Dong Island Infirmary for emergency treatment by fishing boat BTh 97759 TS, captained by Mr. Tran Quang Y, born in 1984, at 4:40 a.m. the same day.
All patients were diagnosed with hypotension and were given oxygen, intravenous fluids, and medication according to the protocol. Currently, the island's military medical team continues to monitor and treat them for timely handling.
