The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission organized a public consultation on Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating extra teaching and learning.
Recently, on February 21, the Ministry of Education and Training also decided to establish an inspection team to implement Circular No. 29 regulating extra teaching and learning.
Accordingly, the inspection team is responsible for checking the implementation of Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating extra teaching and learning according to the direction of the Prime Minister. The inspection period is from February 20 to March 20.
The Ministry of Education and Training also said that after issuing Circular 29, the Ministry advised the Prime Minister to issue a telegram to strengthen the direction of secondary and high school enrollment and the management of extra teaching and learning activities. Accordingly, the telegram requested the Ministry of Education and Training and the People's Committees of provinces and cities to implement many solutions to continue improving the quality and effectiveness of state management of extra teaching and learning activities.
The Ministry also issued an official dispatch on strengthening direction for general education, in which it requested the People's Committees of provinces and cities to direct the Department of Education and Training to properly implement regulations on management of extra teaching and learning.
Regarding the responsibility for implementing Circular 29, the Ministry of Education and Training said that the Ministry will continue to grasp the situation from localities to issue further urging and directing documents, thereby helping the Departments of Education and Training have a basis for advising and directing implementation at the local level.
The Ministry of Education and Training said that the responsibility of the Departments of Education and Training is to promptly grasp the situation from schools and teachers to guide or coordinate with departments, branches, districts and counties to have instructions suitable to local characteristics.
In addition, parents and society need to accompany schools to carry out education, ensuring a harmonious combination of all three elements in education; participate in monitoring the implementation of Circular 29.
