Opened 11 years ago and located in Sun Group's InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort on Son Tra Peninsula, La Maison restaurant was designed by "architectural wizard" Bill Bensley. Designed like an ancient French mansion in the Indochinese style, La Maison 1888 stands out amidst the fresh green space of the primeval forest.

La Maison 1888 is like an old French mansion in Indochinese style.

The restaurant has a variety of dining spaces, such as La Veranda with 24 seats; Buffalo Bar with 14 indoor seats, 30 outdoor seats. The table area with a panoramic view of the kitchen and watching the cooking process can serve up to 14 guests. In addition, the restaurant also has a private room with 4 seats and 2 rooms with 12 seats.

La Maison 1888 is the first restaurant in Vietnam to collaborate with world-famous chefs who own Michelin restaurants, first Michel Roux and then Pierre Gagnaire.

The restaurant serves a seasonal menu, offering fine French cuisine perfectly combined with local ingredients and flavors. The fresh seafood of Son Tra sea, under the endless creativity and skillful techniques of the chefs, is transformed into new masterpieces such as grilled scallops Hokkaido style, boiled Vietnamese snails wrapped in Italian Cannelloni noodles. All create a unique culinary experience that cannot be found anywhere else in Vietnam or even in the world.

The boundless creativity and skillful techniques of the chefs create new and unique dishes.

The ingredients at La Maison 1888 are all premium, such as Foie Gras, also known as fatty goose liver, a "brown diamond" of France. Foie Gras is one of the most expensive dishes in the world, soft and smooth, when enjoyed, it does not give a greasy feeling like other types of goose liver.

Chef Florian Stein is famous in France for his creativity, ingenuity and meticulousness.

On the menu, guests are also served exquisite dishes made from Hokkaido scallops, caviar, Wagyu beef tenderloin, shaved Melanosporum black truffles... The restaurant also serves a vegetarian menu and a Pescatarian menu.

The menu at La Maison 1888 is helmed by chef Pierre Gagnaire, whose culinary philosophy goes beyond the borders of France, embracing the diversity of global cuisine to enrich his creations. Therefore, his love for Vietnam has a great influence on the restaurant's style.

The restaurant's wine cellar has been awarded excellence by Wine Spectator for seven consecutive years.

Working alongside Pierre Gagnaire to guide the cuisine at La Maison 1888 is head chef Florian Stein, who previously delighted diners at the famous Le Chambard restaurant in the Alsace region of France with his creativity, ingenuity and meticulousness.

Every dining experience at La Maison 1888 is paired with wines carefully selected by Sommelier and Beverage Manager Toan Nguyen. The restaurant’s wine cellar has been awarded excellence by Wine Spectator for seven consecutive years, and features many rare wines that cannot be found anywhere else in the country.
