On November 1, the National Children's Hospital announced that the hospital's doctors had just received emergency treatment for a baby girl born in 2016 (in Hanoi) who was admitted in a state of pain, panic, and hundreds of wounds on her body due to being attacked by 4 dogs.
According to the mother of this child, before that, her daughter was taken to her father's workplace to play, while the father was not paying attention, the girl was suddenly attacked by the homeowner's 4 dogs, causing hundreds of injuries on her body. The mother of the child added that the 4 dogs that bit her daughter were kept in captivity by the homeowner, but at the time of the incident, all 4 dogs were free and not muzzled. Immediately after the incident, the child was taken to the National Children's Hospital by relatives for emergency treatment.

Dr. Le Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the Orthopedic Department, National Children's Hospital, who directly performed the surgery on the child patient, shared that immediately after receiving the patient, they determined that this was a very serious case of dog bite, the doctors performed surgery to remove and clean the child's wounds, including a wound nearly 13cm long. After the surgery, the girl was out of danger and was vaccinated against rabies and tetanus to ensure safety. However, the child patient's psychology was still severely traumatized.
