Mr. Thuy spent more than 100 billion VND to buy more LPBank shares
Lien Viet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank (LPBank, code LPB) has just announced that Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy (Bau Thuy), Chairman of the Board of Directors, has just registered to exercise the right to buy more than 13.8 million shares during the period of September 8-26.
According to the capital increase plan, LPBank plans to increase its charter capital by nearly VND5,000 billion by issuing nearly 500 million more shares to offer to existing shareholders. The exercise rate is 28.9% (shareholders owning 100 shares can buy 28.92 more shares). The offering price is not lower than the par value.
Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Duc Thuy holds more than 47.8 million shares, equivalent to 2.756% of outstanding shares.
Mr. Thuy was able to buy more than 13.8 million shares, with an expected purchase value of more than 138 billion VND.
If the transaction is successful, Mr. Thuy will increase the number of shares held to nearly 61.63 million units.
Former vice president buys nearly 6 million shares
Not only Mr. Thuy, leaders of many other businesses also registered to buy shares last week.
Thien Viet Securities Corporation (TVS) announced that Ms. Dinh Thi Hoa has just reported the successful purchase of nearly 5.9 million shares as registered, in the form of an agreement. The transaction was conducted from August 21-29.
After the transaction, Ms. Hoa increased her ownership to nearly 13.4 million shares (8.84%) and officially became a major shareholder here.
Notably, Thien Viet Securities has just announced the dismissal of Ms. Dinh Thi Hoa from the position of Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors. The reason for the dismissal is based on personal wishes.
However, Ms. Hoa still holds the position of member of the Board of Directors. Ms. Hoa is one of the founders of Thien Viet Securities.
CEO buys 7 million shares
At Nhat Viet Securities Corporation, Mr. Tran Anh Thang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director, just bought 7 million shares from August 16-21, in a private stock offering.
Based on the average price of VND27,000/share, it is estimated that Mr. Thang will have to spend about VND189 billion. After the transaction, Mr. Thang holds more than 15.6 million shares (13.01%).
In addition to Mr. Thang, VFS's major shareholder structure also includes Amber Capital Holdings JSC, which holds 8.8 million shares. Mr. Thang is also the legal representative and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Amber Capital.
Thus, the number of shares held by Mr. Thang and related persons after the transaction is more than 24.4 million shares, equivalent to 20.34%.
