A recent case of "caught cheating" in Thailand has caused a stir in public opinion. Many people felt both amused and annoyed when they learned that the husband was not the only one being deceived and that the woman had been having an affair with two other men at the same time.
According to the Daily Mail, the incident broke out on January 5 at a market in Surin, Thailand. The conflict reached its peak when the husband and lover of a woman suddenly discovered that she was dating another man from England.
The woman was angry and reacted when she was caught red-handed "fishing with many hands".
The woman had been legally married to a Thai man, then religiously married to another Thai man – before deceiving both of them to date a British man. However, the secret affair was exposed after the four met at a market in Surin, Thailand, on January 5.
The woman was caught red-handed while going out with a silver-haired man from England.
According to local media, the woman was drunk with her British boyfriend when the two husbands called her mobile phone and asked where she was. She then allegedly dared them to meet her at the market where she was staying with the British man.
Chaotic footage shows the moment the woman stood next to her boyfriend as two Thai husbands rushed to the scene. One of the men, wearing a blue and white striped shirt, can be seen glaring at the couple as he steps forward before someone tries to intervene.
The argument quickly escalated when the angry wife threw a beer bottle at one of the men in the grey jacket. However, she missed and the bottle shattered on the floor, startling other customers.
The British boyfriend wrestled one of the woman's two husbands to the ground.
A piece of broken glass reportedly cut her Thai husband in the leg, although the injury was not serious. Moments later, the woman was again wrestling with the man in the grey jacket, with her British boyfriend and some locals trying to separate them.
The British man in a brown jacket and jeans is then seen pulling the man in a grey jacket aside. He throws the Thai man to the floor in front of children in the play area.
Witness Supredee Tookmai said: "She hung up after the call and had a beer with the foreigners. Soon after, there was another phone call and she challenged the two husbands to come and meet her. And they did come.
Her son told me that his mother had cheated two Thai husbands just to get their money. When they became poor, the woman abandoned them and found new boyfriends."
Local officials said they were aware of the incident but would not intervene as no complaints had been made.
