A woman from the US, whose Reddit account is @mioraa, recently shared a shocking story about how she discovered her husband's infidelity after what seemed like a harmless incident.

The story begins when she notices that the items in her house have started changing color in a strange way.

At first, she noticed the cat's fur had a pale blue tint, then a series of other items such as bedding, sofa, and even the walls in the room began to show similar discoloration.

She thought the cause might be mold or perhaps the detergent she was using. But after testing and ruling out those possibilities, she still couldn't find an answer. She went online to share her concerns and search for house cleaning tips. She hoped to receive advice from the community to solve this strange problem.

"For some reason, everything in my house is turning green," she wrote.

Reddit members suggested the cause might be her cat's contact with a strange blue material. She monitored her cat's movements and took it to the veterinarian, but to no avail.

All she noticed was a noticeable discoloration in the bedroom over the past few months, and she didn't understand what was happening.

"I have to find out why," she insisted, and continued her investigation. Eventually, an unintentional comment from a Reddit user led to a shocking discovery.

"You probably won't believe it, but imagine your husband having an affair with a woman wearing dark blue jeans. The jeans transfer their blue color upon contact with household items, even causing your cat to change color!" one commenter wrote.

The wife monitored and checked her husband's phone and discovered some very sensitive Instagram messages from "a woman in jeans." It turned out her husband was having an affair.

Heartbroken, she took the cat and went back to her parents' house. She also told her husband she needed some time alone to think and would consider divorce.
