On November 19, the second 'Writing about Ho Chi Minh City Education' journalism award ceremony took place with 56 individuals winning prizes. Of which, Tuoi Tre newspaper won first and third prizes.

This year’s education journalism competition attracted more than 90 entries with various topics and genres. Of these, 25 entries (by 56 authors) won prizes, including: 15 consolation prizes, 6 third prizes, 3 second prizes and 1 first prize.

Notably, the series "Tran ai tim noi giao troi tre autistic" by the group of reporters Doan Nhan, Duong Lieu, Ngoc Phuong and Trong Nhan won first prize.
In addition, the series of articles "Parents fight, children are at risk of dropping out of school" by reporter My Dung also won third prize.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tu - editor-in-chief of Ho Chi Minh City Education Magazine - assessed that the entries were quite even in quality.
"Many excellent works have created good social effects, impressed public opinion, brought genuine emotions and positive thoughts to readers about teachers and creative activities of the city's education sector.
At the same time, it has a critical and directional character for the construction and development of the education career of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general. Typical examples are the articles "Tran ai tim noi giao chi thu autistic" by the group of authors of Tuoi Tre newspaper, the series of articles "Truong hoc hanh phuc" by the group of authors of Ho Chi Minh City People's Radio Station, the work "Journey of innovation: From building educational infrastructure to recruiting quality teachers " by Ho Chi Minh City Television Station...", Mr. Tu said.
Reporter Ngoc Phuong shared: "From the reality that many parents with autistic children have to struggle to find schools for their children to study, we have found a way to penetrate and take on roles to bring multi-dimensional information to readers. Journalist Nguyen Tan Phong - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association - highly appreciated the enthusiastic, responsible and effective participation of journalists in the education sector.

"This year's competition was held on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, and among the entries were works about the silent but noble examples of teachers who devoted themselves to their beloved students.
