On May 11, the Central Propaganda Department coordinated with the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Vietnam Publishing Association, and the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee to organize a conference to disseminate and implement new regulations of the 13th Party Central Committee Secretariat on press and publishing in 32 southern provinces and cities.
Specifically, Regulation No. 85-QD/TW, dated October 7, 2022, on cadres and party members establishing and using personal electronic information pages on the internet and social networks; Regulation No. 99-QD/TW, dated February 27, 2023, on the flag of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the use of the Party flag; Regulations 100-QD/TW and 101-QD/TW, dated February 28, 2023, on responsibilities, powers, and the appointment, dismissal, commendation, and discipline of leaders of press agencies and publishing houses; developing a plan to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) in 32 southern provinces and cities.
Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia attended and chaired the conference.
Also attending the conference were representatives of central ministries and branches; leaders of provincial and municipal Party committees and a number of affiliated departments and branches; leaders of press management agencies, publishing house management agencies, leaders of press agencies and publishing houses in Ho Chi Minh City and 32 localities in the southern region (from Da Nang onwards).
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized the need to fully and deeply understand the meaning and importance of organizing the implementation of these regulations in practice as an important component of propaganda work.
On the basis of this conference, the Central Propaganda Department requested localities to continue to study, thoroughly grasp, and widely propagate the content of the regulations in many appropriate forms to help Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, units, cadres, and Party members clearly understand and properly apply the regulations.
In particular, it is necessary to clearly identify this as the responsibility of the entire political system, each cadre and party member; strengthen inspection, monitoring, guidance and urging the implementation of the above regulations; commend and reward Party committees, Party organizations, cadres and party members who perform well; remind, criticize and strictly handle collectives and individuals who do not perform seriously and effectively; promptly report and reflect difficulties and problems to the Central Propaganda Department for timely guidance and direction, close to the actual situation.
Regarding the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), the Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Propaganda Department said that this is an important event for Vietnam's revolutionary press.
From now until then, the press needs to demonstrate more clearly its pioneering role on the ideological and cultural front, and build an increasingly professional, humane, modern, innovative and creative press and media to keep up with the trend in the spirit of the documents set forth by the 13th National Party Congress.

At the conference, the reporters presented the basic content of the new regulations of the Party Central Committee Secretariat and the Project on the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. These are important contents, directly and closely related to the daily advisory, direction and implementation work of Party committees, authorities, organizations and unions.
Party Central Committee member, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Lai Xuan Mon said that the four new regulations disseminated at the conference are very important documents, affirming the deep concern, direct and comprehensive role of the Party in leadership and direction; directly impacting Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, cadres and Party members nationwide.
The contents of the regulations demonstrate many important innovations in content and method, smoothly combining theory and practice, inheritance and development, which need to be thoroughly grasped, seriously and methodically implemented, truly put into practice, and applied uniformly in Party committees, authorities, and the entire political system.
At the conference, delegates listened to the draft Project to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025). With a long and glorious tradition - 100 years of accompanying the nation, the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, with the recognition of the Party, the State and the people, the press nationwide has the right to be proud of its revolutionary tradition, noble professional mission, and important contributions to the country and the nation.
Looking back over the past 100 years is an opportunity to evaluate, summarize, and be proud, but it is also an opportunity to work together to build strategies and plans to help the revolutionary press firmly enter a new stage of development; to encourage and motivate the press nationwide to continue to promote its role and responsibility, and make an important contribution to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
Binh Duong Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Loi said that among the achievements of the province, there are important contributions from press and publishing agencies inside and outside the province.
As the official information channel, a bridge between the Party, the government and the people, the provincial press and publishing agencies, the central press agency residing in the province always strives to operate effectively, in accordance with its principles and purposes, closely following reality, providing information and propaganda fully and comprehensively in all areas of economic, cultural, social, political, national defense and security life; promptly reflecting important issues and events.
Much information clearly demonstrates the role of leading, orienting public opinion, unifying awareness and creating social consensus, contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks. In particular, through press works, literature and art, the team of journalists and artists contribute to propagating, promoting, and widely spreading the achievements of socio-economic development, potential advantages along with the image and typical beauty of the land and people of Binh Duong.
