Man shot dead for suspected affair with his wife

On May 21, news from Cu M'gar District Police (Dak Lak) said that the unit is coordinating with professional departments of Dak Lak Provincial Police to investigate and clarify the case of using a homemade gun to shoot and kill someone.

According to initial information, at around 4:00 a.m. on May 21, people discovered a dead male body on the roadside in Hamlet 8, Ea Kpam Commune, Cu M'gar District, so they reported it to the authorities.

The victim was later identified as Mr. NH (38 years old, residing in Quang Phu Town, Cu M'gar District). From the unusual traces at the scene and on the body of victim H., the police determined that this was a murder case, so they deployed many professional measures to investigate and clarify.

The homemade gun Nhan used to commit the crime

Through extracting many security cameras as well as collecting many other evidences, the police identified the suspect who caused the incident as Hoang Ngoc Nhan (38 years old, residing in Ea Pok Town, Cu M'gar District).

At 10:15 a.m. on May 21, after being persuaded by the police and his family, Nhan surrendered.

At the police station, Nhan initially confessed that at around 9:00 p.m. on May 20, because he suspected his wife of having an affair with Mr. H., Nhan brought a homemade gun to find Mr. H. to talk.

When arriving at village 8, Ea Kpam commune, seeing Mr. H. stopping his car on the side of the road, Nhan used a homemade gun to shoot Mr. H., causing the victim to collapse on the spot. After shooting Mr. H., Nhan hid the gun and fled until the police persuaded him to surrender.
