Bamboo Capital Group (HoSE: BCG) was honored in two important categories at the 2024 Vietnam Listed Company Awards (VLCA), including: Best Annual Report and Best Organization of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
This is a recognition of Bamboo Capital's efforts in information transparency and continuous improvement of governance.
Continuing the success and achievements, in 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE), Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), and Investment Newspaper continue to organize the 17th Enterprise Voting (VLCA 2024). After 17 evaluation periods, this year's Listed Enterprise Voting continues to be divided into three main categories: Annual Report, Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development Report along with a number of other categories.
Bamboo Capital Group is in the Top 20 non-financial enterprises with the best Annual Reports.
With technical support from partners such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Vietnam Institute of Directors (VIOD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), leading auditing firms PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, EY and information support from the State Securities Commission, HoSE and HNX, the VLCA 2024 award results affirm the accuracy and objectivity in the evaluation process.
After nearly 6 months of voting, surpassing more than 500 listed enterprises on both exchanges, the Voting Council selected excellent enterprises in 3 categories: Annual Report, Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development Report, to officially honor.
For the Annual Report (BCTN) category, out of a total of 96 listed enterprises that met the eligibility requirements, the Selection Council selected the 30 most outstanding enterprises to honor. The list includes 10 enterprises in the financial group and 20 enterprises in the non-financial group, in which Bamboo Capital Group was honored to be among the non-financial enterprises that won this prestigious award.
Being honored in the Annual Report category is a testament to BCG's efforts in providing transparent and detailed information, presenting data scientifically and intuitively, helping shareholders and investors grasp the financial situation, operations, strategies, and long-term plans of the group.
BCG's annual report also integrates sustainable development activities, environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria, thereby demonstrating BCG's commitment to contributing to economic and social development.
This award also affirms that BCG not only focuses on annual profits but also builds a long-term sustainable development strategy to ensure benefits for the business, shareholders and the community.
In addition to the Annual Report award, Bamboo Capital was also honored in the Corporate Governance category with the award for Best Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. In this award, only two enterprises out of more than 500 listed enterprises were honored.

After 13 years of establishment and development, Bamboo Capital is a large multi-industry corporation in Vietnam. Not only has it been honored with many important awards, Bamboo Capital also has a solid business foundation with impressive business results in recent times.
Financial report for 2023 - a year in which the economy recorded many unprecedented challenges, especially in the real estate and construction sectors - Bamboo Capital Group still recorded revenue of more than 4,000 billion VND, down only about 8% compared to the same period. This can be called a miracle decrease because the company has revenue from supporting sectors, showing the correctness of Bamboo Capital's focused multi-industry development strategy.
Entering 2024, BCG's consolidated net revenue reached VND3,238.1 billion, up 14.3% over the same period. BCG's after-tax profit in the first 9 months of the year reached more than VND748 billion, 4 times higher than the same period.
With the above business results, at the end of the third quarter, BCG completed 54.7% of the revenue plan and 78.6% of the after-tax profit plan. With favorable macroeconomic factors and signs of recovery from the market, the Group is likely to complete its 2024 business goals and continue to develop sustainably.
Established in 2008, the Annual Report Awards, now the Vietnam Listed Company Awards (VLCA), has become a prestigious annual event, organized by HoSE and HNX in collaboration with Investment Newspaper.
VLCA evaluates and honors businesses that have made outstanding efforts in reporting and disclosing information, implementing regulations and good governance practices as well as good ESG practices at the enterprise.
