90 new students with difficult circumstances in the Central Highlands region received a total of 1.3 billion VND in scholarships from the "Tiep suc den truong" program.
On October 27, in Da Lat City, Tuoi Tre Newspaper in collaboration with the Youth Unions of Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces organized the ceremony to award the Tiep Suc Den Truong scholarship. The program helps 90 new students from the Central Highlands overcome difficulties and continue their studies. This scholarship demonstrates the care and support from the community. This is a great motivation for students to strive harder in the future.
90 disadvantaged students from the Central Highlands provinces received more than 1.3 billion VND in scholarships.
Attending the scholarship awarding ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Pham Trieu, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong Province; Mr. Ndu Ha Bien, Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union and representatives of provincial youth unions of the Central Highlands provinces.

This is the eighth awarding point in the 2024 "Tiep suc den truong" scholarship program for new students under the 597th "For tomorrow's development" program of Tuoi Tre Newspaper. The "Tiep suc den truong" scholarship program was launched in 2003, awarded to 27 new students; in 2024, it was awarded to more than 1,100 new students in difficult circumstances nationwide with a total budget of more than 20 billion VND (15 million VND/scholarship and 20 special scholarships of 50 million VND/4 school years). In particular, 5 provinces in the Central Highlands have 90 new students receiving scholarships with a total amount of more than 1.3 billion VND.
On this occasion, 4 new students with special difficulties and lack of learning equipment were given 4 laptops sponsored by Vinacam Scholarship Fund.
There are 2 students receiving special scholarships of 50 million VND/4 years of study and 4 students receiving laptops at the program held in Da Lat City.
It is known that the scholarship funding for new students with difficult circumstances in the Central Highlands region this time is sponsored by the "Companion to Farmers" fund of Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, Viet Nhat Fertilizer Company and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam Company.
