17 football teams compete for the 10th Capital Labor Newspaper Cup

The tournament took place from April 11 to 22 at Hoang Mai District Stadium (Tay Nam Linh Dam Cultural and Sports Center, Hanoi) with the participation of 17 football teams from district, county and town trade unions.

According to Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation (HLF) Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, after 9 seasons, the Award has affirmed its reputation and brand, becoming a playground that workers and civil servants respond to, on the occasion of the annual Workers' Month.

"The tournament promotes the mass sports movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers in the capital with a healthy spirit to build and protect the Fatherland, a sport of solidarity - honesty - progress," Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy emphasized.

This is one of the activities in response to Workers' Month 2025, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day; 139 years of International Labor Day 1-5, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day...

Editor-in-Chief of the Capital Labor Newspaper Nguyen Van Binh, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that with many years of experience in organizing tournaments, this year the Organizing Committee continues to invest and prepare carefully in terms of scale and facilities to ensure that it is worthy of being a city-level tournament, a large playground for the team of workers, civil servants and laborers in the Capital.
