| In the first 10 months of 2023, total registered FDI capital in Vietnam reached 25.762 billion USD. |
According to the Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Planning and Investment, in the first 10 months of 2023, the total newly registered capital, adjusted capital, and capital contribution and purchase of shares and capital contributions by foreign investors reached 25.762 billion USD, up 14.7% over the same period in 2022, the highest increase since the beginning of 2023.
Of which, 2,608 new projects were granted Investment Registration Certificates, up 66.1% over the same period, with total registered capital reaching more than 15.29 billion USD, up 54% over the same period last year.
There were 1,051 projects registered to adjust investment capital, up 19.4% over the same period, the total additional investment capital reached more than 5.33 billion USD, down 39% over the same period.
Although adjusted investment capital still decreased, the number of projects with adjusted capital maintained an increase compared to the same period, affirming investors' confidence in Vietnam's investment environment and continued decisions to expand existing projects.
