After the Law on Citizen Reception was implemented, the District Party Committee - People's Committee of Que Son district has strengthened leadership and direction for agencies, units and localities to effectively carry out citizen reception work associated with receiving and resolving complaints and denunciations of the people.
From the district to the commune level, places for citizen reception are arranged and officials are assigned to be in charge. The Chairman of the District People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the District People's Council always maintain a regular schedule for citizen reception, always listen to the people's thoughts and aspirations and actively resolve complaints and denunciations.
In the past 10 years, the whole district received 2,059 citizens with 2,108 people. Of which, the Chairman of the District People's Committee alone received 143 visits with 157 people; the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and towns received 388 visits with 394 people.
The People's Committee of Que Son district and communes and towns received 1,134 complaints, denunciations and petitions (320 at district level, 814 at commune level). Of which, 432/432 petitions under their authority were resolved (100%).
The situation of receiving citizens and petitions arising in the district is mainly related to resolving rights and interests in the fields of land acquisition, compensation, resettlement support, environmental issues, social security policies, etc.
At the conference, the Chairman of Que Son District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in 10 years of implementing the Law on Citizen Reception.
