Providing rice to support localities affected by storm No. 3

The Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense will receive 200 tons of rice to support localities affected by storm No. 3.

On September 10, the General Director of the General Department of State Reserves (Ministry of Finance) issued an urgent Decision on providing rice to the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to support localities affected by storm No. 3.

Accordingly, the Hanoi State Reserve Department is assigned to issue 200 tons of rice (to be stored in 2023) free of charge to be delivered equally to the above two Ministries.

Delivery completion deadline is September 12, 2024.

This decision is based on Official Dispatch No. 90 dated September 9 of the Prime Minister on urgently providing food, foodstuffs, and necessities to serve the lives of people affected by storm No. 3.

The Hanoi State Reserve Department is responsible for controlling and taking responsibility for the quality of rice released from the warehouse.
