On February 17, speaking with Tien Phong , Mr. Nguyen Van Huong - Vice Chairman of Hoa Ninh commune, Di Linh district (Lam Dong) said that he had directed the verification and had initial information about the incident in which a woman continuously cursed and physically impacted a student.

Mr. Huong said that at around 4:20 p.m. on February 14, a group of three students went to a restaurant near Le Hong Phong High School (Hoa Ninh commune, Di Linh district) to eat.
Then, Ms. Th. and her son, who live in Hoa Ninh commune, came and sat at the table on the left. At that time, the group of students were talking and laughing together. However, Ms. Th. thought that the group of students were laughing at her son, because he was not normal, which led to the above incident.
According to the restaurant's camera video, the woman kicked the table and cursed continuously. After that, she physically attacked the face of a student sitting in the middle. The woman did not stop there, she continued to attack the student despite people trying to stop her.
"The female student H. has been taken to the hospital by her family for examination and health monitoring. Previously, the female student's family filed a complaint with the authorities, but has since withdrawn the complaint. We will also take strict action as a deterrent," Mr. Huong informed.
