With an average height of 1.6057 m, Vietnam is the second shortest team at the 2023 Women's World Cup after African representative Zambia.
Midfielders Duong Thi Van and Ngan Thi Van Su are the shortest on the team at 1.5 m, while the tallest is goalkeeper Dao Thi Kieu Oanh at 1.7 m. The shortest player at the 2023 Women's World Cup is midfielder Chitundu Avell of Zambia at 1.4 m. Zambia is also the shortest team, with an average height of 1.5939 m.
The top five shortest teams also include South Africa (1.6113 m), Costa Rica (1.6439 m) and Japan (1.647 m). The number one team is South Korea (29.35 years), while the youngest team is the Central American representative Haiti (22.87 years). South Korea has the youngest player in the tournament, striker Casey Phair, born on June 29, 2007. The oldest name is Ebi Onome of Nigeria, born on May 8, 1983.
The 2023 Women's World Cup, which will take place from July 20 to August 20 in nine cities in Australia and New Zealand, is the first tournament to feature 32 teams. Each player will receive a minimum prize of $30,000, while the winner will receive $270,000. The federation whose team is participating will receive a minimum of $1.56 million, while the winner will receive $4.29 million.
