Moca Technology and Service JSC has just announced that it will stop providing e-wallet services on the Moca app and on the Grab app from July 1.
Accordingly, in the announcement, Moca said that the company has made careful assessments and decided to implement a restructuring strategy towards sustainable growth. Accordingly, we regret to announce that we will stop providing Moca e-Wallet service from July 1, 2024.
If customers have a balance in their Moca e-Wallet, they can actively manage this balance by spending on services or withdrawing money to an active linked bank account/card from now until June 30, 2024.
From July 1, 2024, Moca will refund users who still have balance in their accounts. Moca commits to stopping the provision of e-wallet services and refunds will be implemented with the highest guarantees for users' rights and interests.
Moca Wallet will stop working on Grab app from July 1, 2024.
At the same time, we hope that customers take the time to refer to this information and cooperate with the Company according to the instructions so that the refund process takes place smoothly and quickly.
Moca said that it will carry out the refund process with the following priority order: If the bank account/card linked to the Moca e-wallet is still valid, the balance on the Moca e-wallet (if any) will be automatically withdrawn and refunded to the linked bank account/card, expected to be no later than July 31, 2024.
In the event that for any reason the automatic refund process fails, Moca will notify the customer after July 15, 2024 and provide the necessary instructions to coordinate in refunding the balance to the customer's designated account.
Previously, Moca also announced that from May 31, it would stop providing bill payment services on the Grab app, and at the same time, stop providing two bill payment and phone top-up services on the Moca app.
Moca e-wallet on Grab app is a form of electronic payment wallet designed for Grab users in Vietnam. With the desire to bring many utilities to customers using Moca mobile payment service, from August 25, 2016, Moca officially launched E-Wallet and Money Transfer service.
On April 2, 2024, Moca officially announced the change of its head office address to the new address: PVI Building, No. 1 Pham Van Bach, Yen Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi .
