Van Don: Spring Prayer Ceremony for At Ty Year 2025

On the morning of February 8 (January 11, At Ty year), at King Ly Anh Tong Temple, Cai Rong Town People's Committee, the Management Board of King Ly Anh Tong Temple and Dong Trong Cave solemnly held the Spring Prayer Ceremony of At Ty 2025, praying for favorable weather, national peace and prosperity. Attending the ceremony were comrade Truong Manh Hung, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary; comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, People's Council, District People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, organizations and some localities, and a large number of people inside and outside the district.

The temple of King Ly Anh Tong has the Chinese name Van Hai Linh Tu, the temple was built in the 10th year of Chinh Long Bao Ung (ie 1172) to commemorate the great merit of King Ly Anh Tong - the King who established the famous Van Don trading port in 1149. The temple is located in the complex of relics of King Ly Anh Tong Temple and Dong Trong Cave, which were recognized as provincial relics in 2007.

The Peace Prayer Ceremony at King Ly Anh Tong Temple is held annually at the beginning of the year with spiritual rituals such as: Offering offerings, burning incense in front of the community, praying for peace, sacrificing and giving spring fortune... to commemorate the virtues of King Ly Anh Tong and his ancestors. The ceremony has attracted a large number of people and tourists from all over the district to visit, sightsee and make merit.
