At the meeting, 10 citizens came to reflect and make recommendations related to 10 cases, including 2 first-time recommendations. The recommendations were mainly related to land such as delay in granting land use right certificates, land division, site clearance compensation, illegal land allocation, and land disputes.
This is the citizen reception session with the fewest citizens coming to make complaints so far, because many cases have been directed by the Provincial People's Committee to be resolved completely in 2023.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam acknowledged the citizens' petitions and requested departments, branches and localities to report in detail the petition handling process at their units and localities. Some of these petitions were first-time petitions and some were under review, verification and handling by functional agencies and local authorities.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam emphasized: Citizens' petitions are legitimate and need to be considered and resolved satisfactorily. Therefore, he requested that departments, branches and localities enhance their responsibility in resolving citizens' petitions.
In particular, focusing on the stages of checking and verifying archived records over time, combining field visits to check the current status of land use, and organizing dialogues to resolve issues in accordance with the law, ensuring citizens' rights right at the grassroots level.
During the resolution process, if any problems arise, promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee for direction on how to resolve them. Assign the Department of Justice to direct the Legal Aid Center to support citizens in implementing the recommendations.
