DNVN - Today (March 7), the exchange rate between Vietnamese Dong (VND) and US Dollar (USD) and Chinese Yuan (CNY) has been adjusted in two different directions, increasing and decreasing at banks.
At the State Bank, the central exchange rate decreased by 8 VND, down to 24,730 VND/USD. With a fluctuation range of +/-5%, the ceiling exchange rate is set at 25,967 VND/USD, while the floor rate is 23,494 VND/USD. At the State Bank's Transaction Office, the current reference exchange rate is 23,552 - 25,924 VND/USD (buy - sell).
In the group of commercial banks, at 8:30 a.m., Vietcombank listed the USD exchange rate at 25,320 - 25,680 VND/USD (buy - sell), recording an increase of 50 VND compared to the morning of March 6 in both directions. Meanwhile, BIDV adjusted the USD exchange rate down by 10 VND, bringing the USD exchange rate down to 25,310 - 25,670 VND/USD (buy - sell).
For the CNY, Vietcombank raised the exchange rate to 3,464 - 3,575 VND/CNY (buy - sell), 9 VND higher than yesterday morning's session. On the contrary, BIDV kept the old exchange rate at 3,479 - 3,575 VND/CNY (buy - sell).
