DNVN - On the morning of February 21, the exchange rate of Vietnamese Dong (VND) against the US Dollar (USD) and Chinese Yuan (CNY) at banks recorded mixed movements compared to the previous session.
The State Bank announced the central exchange rate at 24,638 VND/USD, down 5 VND compared to February 20. With a margin of +/-5%, today's ceiling is 25,870 VND/USD, while the floor is 23,406 VND/USD. At the State Bank's Exchange, the reference exchange rate continued to increase to 23,457 - 25,819 VND/USD (buy - sell).
At the commercial banking system, at 8:26, Vietcombank kept the USD exchange rate unchanged at 25,350 - 25,710 VND/USD (buy - sell) compared to yesterday. Meanwhile, BIDV adjusted down 10 VND in both directions, bringing the exchange rate down to 25,320 - 25,680 VND/USD (buy - sell).
For the CNY, Vietcombank raised the exchange rate to 3,463 - 3,575 VND/CNY (buy - sell), an increase of 13 VND for buying and 14 VND for selling compared to February 20. BIDV also adjusted the rate up by 9 VND, currently listed at 3,477 - 3,572 VND/CNY (buy - sell).
