Bronze statue of Long Giao Pangolin is a National Treasure

On April 11, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province held a ceremony to announce the Prime Minister's Decision to recognize the Long Giao bronze pangolin statue as a national treasure and opened the exhibition on ancient metallurgy in Dong Nai.

The bronze statue of Long Giao Pangolin is an original, unique, indigenous artifact with a unique form, and is the only specimen discovered in Vietnam.

The value of the bronze statue of Long Giao Pangolin is not only in its perfect beauty with cultural significance that has been passed down to this day, but also demonstrates the talent of bronze casting artisans in Dong Nai in prehistoric and early historical times through the sophisticated, sharp, meticulous shaping down to every detail.

The bronze statue of Long Giao Pangolin is cast accurately in form and size from the real model, from the head, ears, eyes, beak to the scales are all skillfully crafted, precise and balanced.

Currently, Dong Nai province is researching and promulgating separate regulations and policies to protect and promote the value of National Treasures./.
