Attending the program were comrades: Nguyen Van Phuc, Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Le Thi Thu Hang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers; Nguyen Ho Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; and representatives of diplomatic agencies of several countries.

After 8 months of implementation, the playground "Vietnamese Children - Reaching out to the World" for the 2022-2023 school year has attracted the participation of a large number of children across the country. This is an activity to concretize the Project "Building a learning society in the period 2021-2030", the Project "Teaching and learning foreign languages ​​in the national education system in the period 2017-2025", the Project "Improving foreign language proficiency and international integration for Vietnamese children and adolescents in the period 2022-2030" of the Prime Minister.

In the online round, the playground received more than 10,000 entries with the participation of nearly 15,000 children. The children vividly expressed their participation in the cultural features of Vietnam and the world such as: Craft villages, cuisine, costumes, cultural traditions, historical relics, scenic spots... in English. The final round of the playground is the diversity and richness of the cultures of countries around the world through the vivid expression of 13 teams from the following localities: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen, Hai Duong, Nghe An, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Binh Duong, Kien Giang and Tien Giang.

In the final round, the children's teams decorated, displayed and presented in English about culture, cuisine, geography, history, religion, tourism and introduced the friendly and solidarity relationship between Vietnam and the following countries: Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Germany, France, the United States, Japan, South Africa, Cuba, China, England, Korea... In the end, the organizing committee awarded the first prize to Nguyen Trai Primary School (Hong Bang District, Hai Phong City) along with 5 second prizes, 7 third prizes and many other secondary prizes. The Central Council of the Young Pioneers also awarded certificates of merit to 10 provinces and cities that actively participated and achieved excellent results in the playground.

Speaking at the award ceremony, comrade Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, said: “This is a playground to improve knowledge, skills, and international integration capacity for children, contributing to strengthening the spirit of solidarity and friendship between Vietnamese children and children from other countries around the world and creating motivation for children to learn foreign languages ​​in general and English in particular. From this playground, children have become special cultural ambassadors to introduce the friendly and solidarity relationship between Vietnam and other countries in the world.”
