Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau visited and inspected Regiment 929 (Division 372, Air Defense - Air Force).

After conducting a field inspection and listening to reports from the units, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau acknowledged and commended the results achieved by Regiment 929 and Division 372 in the first 6 months of 2023.

Notably, in the first 6 months of 2023, despite many difficulties, the Party Committee, the Division Command, the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units have effectively maintained the activities of the Party Central Committee and the Central Committee. The unit has thoroughly grasped and implemented the program and plan in a synchronous and comprehensive manner, including many tasks that have been well completed, such as: Propaganda work; Party building organization; cadres; security protection; combat readiness work; training and ensuring flight safety. The ideological and organizational situation in the Division is stable; cadres and soldiers have strong political will, high determination, and are ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army requested the leaders and commanders of Division 372 to continue to strictly implement Resolution No. 230-NQ/QUTW of the Central Military Commission on leading the organization of the Vietnam People's Army in the period of 2021-2030 and the following years; Resolution No. 1659-NQ/QUTW of the Central Military Commission on improving the quality of training in the period of 2023-2030 and the following years. According to its functions and tasks, Division 372 needs to proactively grasp, forecast, and correctly assess the situation; regularly review, supplement, perfect, and organize practice to master combat readiness plans, avoid being passive and surprised, and promptly and effectively handle military and defense situations.
