Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau and his delegation visited and presented gifts to comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia.

On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the leadership of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau wished comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia good health and continued contribution of valuable and practical experiences to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the building of a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and gradually modernized Army.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau informed the Head of the Central Propaganda Department about the implementation of tasks, military and defense activities, Party work, political work of the entire army; policy work, and "Repaying gratitude" activities of the Army on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau wished comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia good health and continued contribution of valuable experience to the Party's revolutionary cause and the building of the Army.

Appreciating the affection and attention of the Central Military Commission and the leaders of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his joy at the results achieved by the Army in the past time; hoping that officers and soldiers of the entire army will continue to promote the nature and fine traditions of Uncle Ho's soldiers, strive to study and train, and be ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks.

The General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army continues to perform well its strategic advisory function to assist the Politburo, the Secretariat, directly the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense in leading and directing the building of a politically strong Army, as a basis for improving overall quality and combat strength; maintaining and strengthening the Party's absolute and direct leadership in all aspects over the Army.
