On June 21, the Government Office issued Notice No. 235/TB-VPCP on the Conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang at the meeting on transferring the National Power System Dispatch Center to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Previously, on June 20, at the Government Headquarters, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang chaired a meeting on transferring the National Power System Control Center to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

According to the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will accept the opinions of ministries and agencies at the meeting; preside over and coordinate with the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises and relevant ministries and branches to urgently develop and complete the Project to transfer the National Power System Dispatch Center to the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the form of a single-member limited liability company in accordance with the law, and submit it to the Prime Minister in August 2023.
It is necessary to fully assess the impacts and problems that may arise, and solutions to overcome them, ensuring continuous and effective operation of the national power system, meeting the requirements for safe, reliable and efficient operation of the national power system, and maintaining energy security for the country.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade continues to strengthen regular, direct and comprehensive supervision of the National Power System Dispatch Center according to regulations until the transfer of the National Power System Dispatch Center to the Ministry of Industry and Trade is completed, ensuring that the national power system dispatching activities must be effective, public, transparent, optimally exploiting and operating the national power system, providing enough electricity for production, business and people's consumption.
