Artistic photography exhibition "Natural moments of swallows and seagulls"

(NADS) - On February 5, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in collaboration with the Kien Giang Literature and Arts Association and the Department of Culture and Sports of Kien Giang province organized the opening of an art photography exhibition with the theme "Moments of nature with swallows and seagulls" by artist Tran Lam.

Attending the opening ceremony were journalist - artist Ho Sy Minh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, Editor-in-Chief of Photography and Life Magazine; Mr. Le Trung Ho, Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee.

Journalist - Artist Ho Sy Minh presents the decision to certify the sponsorship of a personal art photography exhibition to Artist Tran Lam.

The exhibition features 85 works excerpted from the photo book "Swallows and seagulls of Kien Giang" by NSNA - Hero of Labor Tran Lam, which has just been published.

The works capture images of swallows and seagulls in the Kien Giang sea from many angles, many landscapes, many different times. Swallows and seagulls in the sky, underwater, flying in pairs, flying alone, flying in flocks, searching, hunting... Many photos are very unique such as seagulls hunting for prey when they just dive into the water, including the hunted prey; swallows in a warm, affectionate couple life; swallows and seagulls in symbiotic life...

Mr. Le Trung Ho, Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee awarded a certificate of merit to artist Tran Lam.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho sent his best wishes to comrades, leaders, NSNA Tran Lam and all delegates.

Mr. Le Trung Ho said that in his 85 years of life, NSNA Tran Lam has been deeply attached to the art of photography. His works, through the lens of his camera, have captured beautiful moments and touching stories about people and life. Each photo has its own mark, demonstrating the talent and dedication of a true artist.

Photographer Tran Lam has devoted much effort to the photo series Nhan and Hai Au. The works were captured from many different angles, very intimate and unique.

The exhibition took place at the time when artist Tran Lam turned 85, as a tribute to the land that nurtured the artist's soul, both meaning good land attracts birds, and more importantly, a message to join hands to protect the natural environment.

At the exhibition, the Executive Board of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists awarded a certificate of sponsorship for a personal art photo exhibition to photographer Tran Lam.

In recognition of the artist's contributions to the province, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province awarded a Certificate of Merit to Artist Tran Lam at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

The exhibition runs until February 12 at Canh Buom cafe, corner of Tran Thu Do - Tran Hung Dao street, Vinh Thanh Van ward, Rach Gia city, Kien Giang province.
