According to information from Dong Ha City Police, up to now, 68.8% of households in the area have portable fire extinguishers. This has brought about practical results, many fires and explosions were handled promptly on the spot, minimizing damage.

To achieve this result, the authorities have stepped up propaganda about the consequences of fire and explosion; provided guidance on knowledge and skills on fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) among cadres, party members and the people.

Widely launch the movement "My house has a fire extinguisher" among the people; agencies, units, and organizations of the city thoroughly educate 100% of the households of party members and cadres of their units to set an example and equip at least 1 fire extinguisher. Mobilize many resources to give fire extinguishers to households in difficult circumstances, families with preferential policies...

Deputy Head of Dong Ha City Police, Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Kim Phuong said: "The city is striving to have 100% of households in the area have fire extinguishers by the end of June 2024.

With a compact design and easy to use, when a fire or explosion occurs, family members will quickly use the fire extinguisher to control and promptly extinguish the fire, so it is very necessary for families to be equipped with fire extinguishers to improve the effectiveness of on-site fire prevention and fighting, thereby contributing to limiting damage to people and property.
