10 products recognized as typical IT products include: Wall-hanging sedge products of Tan Tho Handicraft Cooperative (Nong Cong); Quang Phuc sedge mats of Quang Phuc Agricultural Production, Trading and Service Cooperative (Quang Xuong); dried Cordyceps sinensis of Le Truong Truong Business Household (Hoang Hoa); Binh Son green tea bags and Binh Son Solanum procumbens tea bags of Binh Son Agricultural and Forestry Service Cooperative (Trieu Son); dried Cordyceps sinensis products in the form of threads, Cordyceps sinensis concentrate, Cordyceps sinensis honey of Sukha Vietnam Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Hau Loc); Tac Huy special shrimp paste and Tac Huy premium fish sauce of Dong Thi Huy Business Household (Nghi Son town); lemongrass essential oil of Minh Hong Essential Oil Production and Trading Co., Ltd. and Antimos mosquito repellent spray of Minh Hong Essential Oil Production and Trading Co., Ltd. (Thach Thanh).

(Thach Thanh) were selected to be voted for regional-level IT products, from which the Ministry of Industry and Trade will select products to participate in the vote for typical IT products at the national level. |
The wall-hanging sedge product set of Tan Tho Handicraft Cooperative (Nong Cong) is one of 6 products selected to vote for regional handicraft products.
Lemongrass essential oil and Antimos mosquito repellent spray products of Minh Hong Essential Oil Production and Trading Company Limited (Thach Thanh) were also selected to vote for regional-level IT products.
It is known that the certified products will be presided over by the Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with relevant units to create stamps, labels, and logos for the products; at the same time, in coordination with relevant units to propose and develop programs and solutions to support the development of recognized products; and to develop a monitoring mechanism to protect the compliance with legal regulations of the IT establishments whose products are granted certificates.

Speaking at the ceremony to award medals and certificates of outstanding IT products at the provincial level in 2023, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Pham Ba Oai commented: The selection of IT products is held annually to discover and honor products with high quality, high use value, potential for production development, market expansion, and meeting the tastes of domestic and foreign consumers. From here, state agencies will have plans to support production development and trade promotion, contributing to the successful implementation of the cause of rural industrialization and modernization; at the same time, encourage creativity and motivate IT product production establishments to promote their competitive advantages. Therefore, he suggested that the functional departments of the Department and localities continue to pay attention to and support enterprises and cooperatives in terms of processes and procedures to encourage and motivate units to participate in voting more in the coming time.
The certification of typical IT products has opened up new development opportunities, affirmed the prestige, quality, brand value and created a foothold in the market for production facilities; at the same time, increased recognition and prestige when bringing products to consumers. This is also the motivation for IT facilities to continue researching, investing, innovating technology, expanding production scale and building product brands. |
