Speaking at the ceremony, journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam - Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, said that the Writing Contest "Deep memories of teachers and schools" in 2023 was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training and assigned Education and Times Newspaper as the permanent unit to implement.

The contest is organized to recognize and honor teachers who have good jobs and achievements, and make positive contributions to educational innovation; recognize and honor educational institutions with many innovations and creativity in teaching and learning; and spread the good feelings of students and parents towards teachers and schools.
After two months of launching, the Contest has received the response and participation of many authors nationwide and many quality works. The Organizing Committee has received more than 80,000 entries, sent via email and post. The number of entries shows that the Contest has been vibrant and spread strongly in schools. At the same time, it also shows the interest and support of many readers and people from all walks of life for the meaning of the Contest.
Many works are elaborately presented, with many illustrative photos and clips; primary school students carefully write each stroke in beautiful purple ink, decorating their works themselves.

It can be seen that the image of teachers is viewed from a multi-dimensional, multi-faceted perspective, but no matter what angle or relationship, the entries are all beautiful, unique images of teachers. And there are many examples and touching stories about teachers and schools contained in the works. That is the sentiment, love spread and positive energy that the contest wishes to bring to all those who have been and are sitting in school.
At the Closing Ceremony of the Writing Contest “Deep Memories of Teachers and School” in 2023, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong shared that the contest is not only an opportunity for students to express their gratitude and affection for those who have guided them, but also an opportunity for those working in education to recognize and re-evaluate the value and importance of the teaching profession in shaping the future of the young generation.
According to Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong, in a short time, the contest attracted over 80,000 entries. In such a short time, the jury worked responsibly, impartially and scientifically. From there, they selected the most worthy entries.

Currently, the Ministry of Education and Training is focusing on building school culture and educating students' personalities. Therefore, the contest focuses more on student education than ever before. The number of 80,000 entries shows that we always have a tendency towards goodness and humanity in any circumstances. The Deputy Minister expressed his hope that the contest will be increasingly widespread and continue to be organized with better quality, so that teachers and schools will always be remembered by everyone.
The Preliminary Jury selected 44 works for the Final Round. The Jury selected and awarded 30 prizes (2 collective prizes and 28 individual prizes).
According to the jury, the quality of the entries this year was quite good. Many of the entries left a deep impression, due to the careful investment in both content and presentation.
