According to the bulletin from the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, satellite cloud images, weather radar images and lightning positioning determined that thunderstorms are developing and causing rain with thunderstorms and lightning in Can Gio, Nha Be, Binh Chanh, Cu Chi districts, Thu Duc City and districts 1, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, Binh Tan, Tan Phu, Binh Thanh.
The Meteorological Agency forecasts that in the next 0-3 hours, thunderstorms will continue to cause showers, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in the above districts, then expanding to the entire city. Rainfall is generally 20-50 mm, in some places over 50 mm. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, hail and strong gusts of wind of about level 5-7 (8-17 m/s).

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (May 31), the weather in the South is cloudy, sunny during the day, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, locally heavy rain, showers and thunderstorms at night in some places, with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature is 24-27 degrees Celsius, the highest is 31-34 degrees Celsius, some places are over 34 degrees Celsius.
