Ho Chi Minh City honors 500 outstanding children

The event aims to celebrate major holidays: 50 years of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), 84 years of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2025), 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and 50 years of the founding of the first Le Van Tam Team in Ho Chi Minh City.

The 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress honored 500 outstanding children. These are shining examples, exemplary in studying and training; they are team members - team leaders who have achieved many high achievements in team work, in district, city and national level competitions.

The parade was reenacted at the Congress.

At the same time, they are young friends with excellent achievements in studying and scientific research, are examples of strong will, overcoming difficulties, knowing how to share and help friends, actively participating in protecting the environment, and preserving national cultural identity.

The congress was attended by more than 10,000 team members and team leaders in Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Pioneer Council Trinh Thi Hien Tran emphasized that the Congress is an opportunity to commend and honor outstanding team members and children in the movement "Children of the City follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings". This is also a space for exchange between generations of good children of Uncle Ho of Ho Chi Minh City from 1975 to the present, contributing to fostering pride and ideals of a beautiful life for the young generation...

Within the framework of the event, there were exchange and connection activities between generations of representatives of Ho Chi Minh City's Good Children of Uncle Ho from 1975 to 2025; Team Rituals Contest; Team Training Festival, and Mock Battle Game.
