Screening of the film 'I see yellow flowers on the green grass' at the Francophone Festival in Chile

Held from March 20 to April 8, the Francophone Festival is an annual activity to honor the French language and the cultural diversity of the Francophone Community.

The movie “ I see yellow flowers on the green grass ” has made an impression on Chilean and international friends when it was screened at the Cineteca Nacional of Chile within the framework of the 2025 Francophone Festival.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Chile brought director Victor Vu's film to international friends in the capital Santiago de Chile to introduce the poetic beauty and unique cultural features of Vietnamese villages to a wide international audience.

Held from March 20 to April 8, the Francophone Festival is attended by 15 embassies and diplomatic missions from the Francophone community in Chile. This is an annual event to honor the French language and the cultural diversity of the Francophone community.

Many programs such as film screenings, art exhibitions, talks, food fairs andeducational activities took place during this time, contributing to promoting multilateral dialogue, mutual understanding, and strengthening connections between cultures.

In addition to bringing Vietnamese cinema to the public in Chile, the Vietnamese Embassy also participated in culinary activities at the Francophone Festival, organized by the Embassy's staff and spouses. Vietnamese cuisine has left a special impression thanks to its unique flavors, contributing to honoring Vietnamese culinary culture in the hearts of international friends.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Chile continues to affirm its role as an active member and has made many outstanding contributions to this year's Francophone Festival, receiving enthusiastic responses from the local public and international friends.

Vietnam's active and regular presence and contributions to the Francophone Festival in Chile over the years have demonstrated a spirit of proactive international integration, promoting cultural exchange and strengthening friendship with Francophone countries with the host country Chile, a country currently an observer of the International Organization of La Francophonie./.
