Ca Mau City continues to arrange urban order

Although the local government has painted lines, regularly inspected and mobilized, some vendors still spill out onto the street to display their goods, making traffic in the Ward 8 market area difficult.

Accordingly, since the beginning of the year, the sectors have conducted 714 raids; the People's Committees of communes and wards have launched 250 raids. Thereby, 282 cases of administrative violations were punished, and at the same time, cases of violations of urban order; encroachment on sidewalks, roads... were reminded.

At Canal 16 (through wards 2, 4, 9), 205 households were found to be encroaching on the canal, 185 cases were removed; the remaining cases are being further propagated, mobilized, and handled according to regulations.

Also at Canal 16, in Ward 4, there are 12 cases of encroachment on the drainage system's outlet and in Ward 9, there are 15 cases that have not been completely handled, affecting drainage after rain, causing local flooding at certain times...

After checking the actual situation, Ca Mau City directed to continue to clear illegal constructions and encroachment on the drainage system of Canal 16.

The leader of the Urban Management Department of Ca Mau City said that in the coming time, they will continue to arrange market locations, maintain forces, posts, guards, install surveillance cameras, handle, and prevent disorderly trading, encroachment on roads and sidewalks at market locations from continuing; properly arrange and effectively rectify the situation of street vendors on roads and public areas. Maintain well the campaigns to arrange urban order, focus on managing and arranging sidewalks and trading order; strictly implement the display of goods according to sidewalk markings and properly manage the temporary use of roads and sidewalks.

Nowadays, more and more trucks selling goods are parked along the roads, concentrated on the following routes: Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ngo Quyen, Nguyen Cong Tru... affecting traffic safety and urban order./.
