After an impressive opening match against strong opponent U22 Korea, tonight, the U22 Vietnam team enters the next challenge at the international U22 tournament CFA Team China 2025.

Coach Dinh Hong Vinh and his team will face U22 Uzbekistan, a team considered a candidate for the championship of the tournament. With a good technical foundation and disciplined playing style, Uzbekistan has always been a formidable name in youth tournaments, having won the 2018 U23 Asian Championship and regularly participating in continental finals. This will be a high-dose "test" for our U22 Vietnam players.

In the opening match on the afternoon of March 20, the U22 Vietnam team faced U22 Korea, a highly rated opponent, but the whole team still played confidently and took a 1-0 lead after Thanh Nhan's shot in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, coach Dinh Hong Vinh's students could not maintain the victory when the other team equalized in the 90th minute.

However, the 1 point gained against the strong opponent U22 Korea can be considered an encouraging start for U22 Vietnam. The encounter with U22 Uzbekistan in the second match promises many challenges.
