The Ministry of Public Security has announced the terrorist-related organization "Committee for Overseas People - BPSOS."

The Ministry of Public Security said that based on Vietnamese and international law, it determined that the BPSOS organization has been and is involved in terrorism.

This organization's English name is "Boat People SOS" led by Nguyen Dinh Thang, announced its establishment in 1990, with headquarters located at 6066 Leesburg Pike, Suite 100 Falls Church, VA 22041-2220, USA.

BPSOS has media channels such as bpsos.org, machsongmedia.com, "Mach song" newspaper, Facebook pages "BPSOS - Vietnam Advocacy Project", "Vietnam Multi-Religious Round Table"...

According to the Ministry of Public Security, BPSOS operates under the name of "Refugee Relief" but in fact takes advantage of this activity to connect and assist organizations and individuals to conduct anti-Vietnam activities. Among them, a number of people participating in the organization "Montagnards for Justice - MSFJ" carried out the terrorist attack on June 11, 2023 in Dak Lak, killing 9 officials and people.

On March 6, 2024, the Ministry of Public Security added MSFJ and related individuals to the list of terrorist organizations.

The Ministry of Public Security identified Nguyen Dinh Thang (67 years old, from Nghe An, born in Ho Chi Minh City, American nationality) currently in the US, as the leader, holding the role of Executive Director of the BPSOS organization, having close relations with the MSFJ organization...

Thang directly guided, supported funding, facilities, and paid salaries for a number of MSFJ members to conduct anti-Vietnam activities, including terrorist and sabotage activities on June 11, 2023.

After the Ministry of Public Security put MSFJ and its members on the terrorist list, the Dak Lak Provincial Police Investigation Security Agency issued a wanted notice for Y Quynh Bdap.

This is one of the leading suspects in the terrorist attack in Dak Lak./.
