The Hindustan Times reported on December 22 that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez will get married on December 28, with a winter-themed wedding and a total cost of $600 million.
Before that, the couple will celebrate their wedding at a luxury sushi restaurant in the Aspen ski resort, Colorado (USA) and have booked the entire restaurant for 2 days December 26-27. Mr. Bezos and Ms. Sanchez have been very secretive about the wedding date, since their engagement in May 2023 on a $500 million superyacht.

The couple has yet to officially comment on the wedding news. The Daily Mail on December 21 quoted a source familiar with the Aspen ski community as saying that the Amazon founder and his assistant arrived in Aspen on a private plane on December 21.
In an interview on the Today Show in November, Lauren Sanchez said she had bought a wedding dress, but did not mention any wedding plans. Given Jeff Bezos’s influence, the media reported that the wedding would likely be attended by many famous stars and celebrities.
Guests are expected to stay at some of Aspen's most luxurious resort hotels, and the wedding is said to include a mountaintop ceremony with a "winter wonderland" setting.
