Prime Minister visits Mausoleum of late President Mustafa

In the cold weather of 5 degrees Celsius in the capital Ankara (Türkiye), the Prime Minister and his wife, along with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, expressed their emotions when visiting the Mausoleum of the late President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife, along with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, visited the Mausoleum of late President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

The late President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk (1881-1938) was the first president of the Republic of Turkey. He was a prominent military, politician and scholar, who is honored as the "father" of modern Turkey for his great contributions to the country and people. Ataturk in Turkish means "father of the Turks".

The mausoleum of the late President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk is located on a hill in a spacious, airy, green and solemn area, from where you can admire the view of the capital Ankara below. With a design that combines classic and modern trends, the mausoleum is designed with large stone columns.

The mausoleum houses the remains of the late President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and displays pictures and relics about his life. Many heads of state and high-ranking officials from other countries have visited the mausoleum and laid wreaths when visiting Türkiye.

The Head of Government also affirmed that, despite being geographically far apart, Vietnam and Türkiye share many similarities in the history of fighting for independence and nation building.

The mausoleum of late President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk is considered an architectural symbol of Türkiye in the 20th century.

During difficult times in history, both nations were fortunate to be led by great leaders such as President Ho Chi Minh and President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who brought the modern history of the two countries to a new and proud stage of development.
